Why she is a weirdo: There are many reasons but a few are: Eats pineapple on pizza, Won't open pop bottles. Hates wearing socks. Terrified of the children's movie 'Jumanji'.

Guilty pleasures: Formula One Racing. Opening kinder surprise eggs just to find the toys. Cozy blankets. Hilarious socks.
Why he isn't a weirdo: Won't open mail without a letter opener. Hasn't seen the Little Mermaid movie. Doesn't like breakfast for dinner. Takes 3 hours to finish a sudoku puzzle. Drinks his coffee black - with sugar.
"I wish I met you sooner so I could annoy you longer"
Our Love Story started with a first date. It began in a cozy cafe in Waterdown, known for its sugar coated french toast, where Mike patiently waited for a girl who was annoyingly late. He waited for so long. Little did he know that her lateness wasn't out of the ordinary for her at all. He also didn't know that the moment she walked out of the pouring rain and into the ‘Brown Dog Cafe’, that his life would completely change.
"You are my greatest adventure"
Disney. Our favourite place. This was one of the best trips we took as a couple. We went to every park, fast passes and all. We got to be child-like in the best way possible. From pirate adventures and long lineups to see Belle, to hours of beach time where one of us was zonked out sleeping (Mike) and the other was collecting sea shells along the shore and trying to sneak the good snacks (Britt aka Top Banana).
"I'd do it all over again as long as it was with you"
We bought our first home in the spring, but didn't get to move in until the end of the summer. It was a long summer! Even after the house was ours we did a lot of research, a lot of coffee drinking and a lot of cursing. None of it's easy, but it's so worth it. We also taught ourselves how to build and fix things so our home will last, so we can grow old here, so we can continue to make happy memories under this roof.
"He stole a pizza her heart, so she's stealing his last name"
It was the perfect day, a cold winter day, jam-packed with so many surprises and wonderful trips. To the cafe where we had our first date, a long stroll through Niagara-on-the-Lake and all our favourite shops along the way, views upon views by the pretty gazebo at the water's edge, and of course the lights.
And then...in the beautiful archway gardens overlooking the falls in Niagara, Michael asked Brittany to be his wife!
It was 9:00pm, the fireworks were going off over the water, as planned...we had the perfect view, all alone, but so so happy. Obviously Britt said yes.
